 "Mo" is a 2015 15.3hh black/chocolate brown imported Lusitano gelding. His sire is Dante Dos Diamantés. Mo has several relatives who excel in dressage, including his brother, Jumbo Dos Diamantés, currently being campaigned by a Spanish young rider. Mo is an energetic sweetheart that loves his job. He has smooth gaits, is responsive to the aids and soft in the bridle. Mo has successfully shown through 3rd level and is schooling 4th/PSG. Mo also enjoys cavaletti work and is great on the trail. The difference between first and 3rd was only 1%. Very exciting it was so close! Carrie & Dolce Bella: 4th level AA Champion Larisa & Pikobello: 2nd level Open Champion Paige & Denali: Training level Jr/Yr Champion Jr/Yr Highpoint both days What an incredible successful show! All of the LMD riders did great at both the Spirit Equestrian and Cool August Nights shows. Good scores and lots of blue ribbons, and a few highpoint awards! Paige riding Larisa's 6yr old Dutch gelding Denali, had the highest score and highpoint of 76.9%! The pair was also awarded the overall highpoint award for JR/YR at cool august nights! Paige also received her highest scores with her Romulus in the PSG of 68% and 69%!
Nicole did an amazing job rocking her Inter 1 freestyle in the evening celebration of The Year of the Horse, at cool august nights! Her Dutch gelding, Violaan, aka Opie, gave Nicole some airs above the ground before they entered at A, but then put in a stellar performance and came in second with a 71%! We all had a great time! Now on to the DASC championships Sept. 5-7, and the CDS/USDF championships Sept. 24-28! So proud of our horses and riders! Even with some tough judging, Carrie & Dolce Bella won their 4th level test 3 class of 5 competitors with a 71%. Larisa & Shine on did great in their PSG with a 69%. Larisa & Pikobello did great in their 2nd level test 3 with a 67% & 69%. Paige & Denali did awesome in their Tr level test 3 with a 69% & 73% and won Jr/Yr highpoint! Paige & Romulus had another great PSG ride with a 65%!
We are looking forward to our next show at Spirit and then on to Cool August Nights, the DASC championships and lastly the CDS/USDF Regional Championships! LMD had a super weekend competing in the last Spirit Equestrian show. Carrie and Dolce Bella received a 70.3% in their 4th level test 3! Paige and Romulus received a 66.8% in their PSG! Larisa and Pikobello received a 69% in their 2nd level test 3! Nicole and Violaan received a 69% in their Intermediare 1 test and a 74.9% in their Intermediare Freestyle!
